When one door closes, 10,000 open – a project update

Today is the absolutely last day of creating personal portraits for my Pictures for an Exhibition project.

I have mixed feelings about ending this phase of the project because the people who have stepped forward have been wonderful.

It is fun and enlightening to experience photography as a connection tool between open minded and big hearted people.

After a short break, the next stage of the project is calling me forward. My aim is to select a few portraits (from over 10,000 images), print them in a single book of photographs and open up a conversation with an appropriate exhibition venue.

In addition, I’m officially open to paid portrait commissions too and am grateful to those individuals and businesses who are booking time with me.

Thank you

Stephen

  • Jo BlackwellWonderful, Stephen. Congratulations on completing the first phase, Stephen, and for reminding me of the value of opening up one’s heart. Good luck with phase 2 – I’m sure it will be be as successful as the first. Proud to have taken part (and thank you for generously taking part in my own project) x.ReplyCancel
