Unleashing your inner people photographer

Who do you know who will be interested in this? Please leave a comment here or inbox me with your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and/or criticisms about the following idea.

In the autumn I’m planning to organise a small get together for people who love photography, own a camera but are shy, nervous or scared, about photographing people and want to change from that to being the best that they can be as people photographers.

My thinking behind this suggestion comes from personal experience. It was only a few years ago that I was frightened of being photographed myself (If I saw a camera pointed at me I would hide or run away). Not surprisingly this had a negative impact on my people photography, because, as Ansel Adams said, “There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer”. Fortunately, we are never too young or old to lean to change how we think and behave.

So if you, or someone you know, would like to spend some time and a little money with me then I shall organise an experience that has the potential to transform how you use your eye, heart and mind when photographing people.

Thank you

Stephen
